What are the must-have tools you need for intraday trading (aside from the obvious like a trading platform)?

I couldn’t do without QuantConnect as an algo trader. MT’s EAs are okay and NinjaTrader has some reasonable auto tools but QuantConnect is the one I prefer for backtesting and sheer usability.

Level II data is a must in my opinion. With a view of the order book you get a much better gauge of market depth and when to time your trades.

There are a couple of things I couldn’t do without. One is my stock screener (Trade Ideas). Second is a solid financial calendar for which I use Investing.com
