TabTrade Review 2026
See the best TabTrade alternatives in your location.
Pros
- The Edge account is the sweet spot for active traders, pairing raw spreads from 0.0 pips with a $7 round-turn commission per lot that is more workable for intraday trading than the Standard account.
- The MT5 platform, available on desktop, web and mobile, gives experienced traders the tools they actually need - one-click dealing, custom indicators, EAs and execution as low as 20ms on some accounts. cTrader and TradingView are also coming soon.
- What impressed us for a new broker was the presence of infrastructure aimed at serious traders, with VPS hosting, FIX API access and Equinix-linked execution, helping active traders deploy fast-paced setups across global markets.
Cons
- Some of the broker’s strongest selling points are gated behind higher tiers, with the VIP account requiring a punchy $25,000 deposit and priority support locked behind the TabTrade+ monthly subscription plan.
- Because TabTrade is so new, there isn't enough live evidence and feedback on slippage, withdrawals and real-world execution to know whether the broker performs as well in practice as it does on paper.
- Research and education resources need work, with more of a focus on onboarding and account setup than on the kind of market analysis, sentiment data, or strategy development many active traders want.
TabTrade Review
We ran hands-on tests of TabTrade, a relatively new CFD broker, to find out whether active traders should open an account or walk away. This review of TabTrade should not be confused with TabTrader (‘r’ on the end), which is a cryptocurrency exchange and separate company.
Regulation & Trust
TabTrade cannot yet achieve a high trust score yet for two key reasons:
- TabTrade is fairly new and unknown. It’s expected to launch in 2026, but as of our latest tests does not have a large client base with enough user testimonials to point to its reliability. Also, because not all of its accounts and products are operational yet, we haven’t been able to run extensive tests across all of its trading services. We have, however, spoken to its support team via email and live chat to check it’s going live soon (March 2026).
- TabTrade is not yet regulated by a top-tier body. It’s not authorized by a ‘green tier’ body in our regulator classification system. Brokers that are tend to provide stronger safeguards for retail investors, such as access to investor compensation in the event of company insolvency. Instead, the broker is incorporated in Saint Lucia under the International Business Companies Act, under TabTrade Ltd. A support agent we spoke to said they were regulated by the Saint Lucia Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA). This is a ‘red tier’ body in our classification system, whereby such regulators do not provide robust oversight of licensed brokers. Also, we could not find evidence of TabTrade on the FSRA’s databases. Insert Money Ltd (HE487167) is based in Cyprus and provides some administrative and payment features for TabTrade Ltd (2025-00919), however they are not registered with the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission (CySEC) based on the checks we ran.
To TabTrade’s credit, its Financial Services Guide says it maintains professional indemnity insurance or equivalent protections under Saint Lucia law. That is better than no protection at all, but it is not the same thing as access to a major investor compensation scheme under a top-tier regulator. For retail traders, that distinction matters if the broker ever fails or a dispute escalates beyond routine support.
TabTrade also says client money is kept in segregated accounts separate from the firm’s own operating funds. That is a positive, but they do not provide much detail beyond that, such as the names of banking partners (something we asked the support team for).
Traders who sign up for an account via TabTrade Ltd should be aware that this is an offshore broker, which might be able to offer perks like trading promotions and high leverage, but it won’t be subject to the same scrutiny as highly regulated brokers.

Accounts & Banking
Live Accounts
TabTrade offers three primary live accounts. We’ve compared them side-by-side below and explained which types of active traders they suit (and don’t).
| Account | Spreads | Commission | Minimum Deposit | Best For | Won't Suit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | From 1.0 pips | None | $0 | Newer traders, casual traders, and anyone wanting a simple commission-free setup | Scalpers, day traders, and other active short-term traders who need tighter spreads and lower all-in trading costs |
| Edge | From 0.0 pips | $3.5 per side | $250 | Active retail traders, day traders, scalpers, and experienced traders who want raw spreads and more precise pricing | Complete beginners who want the simplest possible setup, or very low-budget traders unable to meet the minimum deposit |
| VIP | Averages near zero | Custom rates | $25,000 | Professional, very high-volume, and institutional-style traders who want custom pricing and premium conditions | Most retail traders, newer traders, and smaller active traders due to the very high deposit requirement |
There’s also a swap-free account. This is aimed at Islamic traders looking to avoid paying overnight interest charges. It provides access to all the same instruments and platforms with execution through the Equinix LD5 data centre. However, “there are some additional costs on the account to allow for this”, details of which TabTrade is less transparent about in its public materials or in our conversations with the support team (more details later).
The sign-up process itself is straightforward and follows three steps we’ve been through dozens of times at other brokers:
- Register for an account: You’ll need basic contact details like your email and name. We did this to get ‘early access’.
- Verify your ID: This is standard practice and requires a copy of relevant identity documents like a driver’s license and your address. Documents can be submitted electronically.
- Deposit: From the client area you can fund your account. Funds can be processed quickly, so active traders could be placing positions in less than 5 minutes.
TabTrade acts as principal to every trade. This means it is the direct counterparty to clients’ trades as opposed to routing clients to an exchange. That is pretty standard at offshore CFD brokers we’ve tested, but it is still important because execution quality, pricing, and how conflicts are managed depend heavily on the broker’s own infrastructure and policies.
TabTrade markets MAM/PAMM access in its site, but at the time of our initial review we could not find enough public details to properly assess the product, including allocation mechanics, reporting, or fees. We will revisit this in our next round of tests.
Demo Accounts
TabTrade, like most brokers, offer a demo trading account. We signed up for it during testing via the website. You can replenish demo funds and it provides access to the same platforms, tradable assets and pricing as you get in live accounts.
Deposits & Withdrawals
TabTrade offers a fairly typical selection of deposit and withdrawal options with no fees on its side (third-party charges may still apply). We’ve compared the different funding options below and noted which type of traders they suit.
| Payment Method | Category | Deposit Time | Withdrawal Time | Best For | Watch Out For |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cryptocurrency | Crypto | Within 1 hour (network dependent) | 1 business day | Crypto-savvy traders wanting flexible funding | Blockchain delays, wallet errors, asset volatility |
| Bank Transfer | Banking | 1–2 business days | 2–5 business days | Larger transfers and traditional bank users | Slow withdrawals can frustrate active traders |
| Visa / Mastercard | Card | Instant | 1–3 business days | Most retail traders wanting quick, simple deposits | Withdrawals are slower than deposits |
| Google Pay / Apple Pay | Digital wallet / Card gateway | Instant | 1–3 business days | Mobile-first traders who want convenience | Availability may depend on region/device |
| Skrill | E-wallet | Instant | 1–2 business days | Active traders who want faster access to funds | Third-party wallet fees may still apply |
| Neteller | E-wallet | Instant | 1–2 business days | Short-term traders who value speed and flexibility | Third-party wallet fees and regional limits |
| 50+ region specific options | Local payment methods | Instant | 1 business day | Traders wanting familiar local payment rails | Availability and speed vary by country |
Because TabTrade wasn’t fully live during our last checks, we haven’t been able to fully test the deposit and withdrawal process first-hand. When able, we will do that and update this section of the review.
One detail worth knowing is that TabTrade uses a wallet-based system inside the client area. This means deposits land in a wallet first and can then be allocated to individual trading accounts, with support for multiple wallet currencies and visible conversion rates before transfer.
The broker also warns that deposits and withdrawals can show as “funds in transit” while being processed, which means money may not be instantly available as trading margin even if a transfer has been initiated. For active traders moving money around quickly, that delay might matter.

Assets & Markets
TabTrade facilitates CFD trading across several asset classes (forex, metals, commodities, indices, shares, cryptos, ETFs). It’s a reasonable line-up of over 1,000 individual tradeable assets that will meet the needs of many standard retail traders.
| Asset Class | What You Can Trade | Example Assets Offered | Best For | Considerations |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Forex | Major, minor and exotic FX pairs | EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, NZD/USD, USD/CAD, USD/CHF, GBP/JPY | Scalpers, day traders, macro traders | Exotics can be jumpy; 1:1000 leverage cuts both ways |
| Indices | Major stock index CFDs | US 500, US 30, US 100, UK 100, GER 40, JPN 225, AUS 200 | Index day traders, news traders, macro traders | Cash index flows can spike around opens and data |
| Metals | Precious and base metals | XAU/USD, XAG/USD, XPT/USD, XPD/USD, Gold/EUR, Gold/AUD, Copper, Iron | Gold scalpers, inflation/safe-haven traders | Metals can whip hard on USD moves and risk events |
| Shares | Share CFDs across US, Europe and Hong Kong | Apple, Zoom, Siemens, Volkswagen, LVMH, Hermès, Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, BYD | Stock CFD traders, earnings traders, momentum traders | Single-stock gaps and headline risk are higher |
| Cryptocurrencies | Crypto CFDs trading 24/7 | Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, XRP, Litecoin | Weekend traders, momentum traders, volatility hunters | 24/7 volatility and high leverage can get messy fast |
| Commodities | Energy and agricultural commodities | Brent Crude, WTI Crude, Natural Gas, Coffee, Cocoa, Sugar, Corn, Wheat, Soybean, Oats | Oil traders, mean-reversion traders, event-driven traders | Weather and geopolitics can move these violently |
| ETFs | ETF CFDs within the broker’s share range | S&P 500 ETFs, Gold-linked ETFs, Silver-linked ETFs | Theme traders, swing traders, diversification-focused traders | ETFs may be less suited to some short-term trading strategies, liquidity can vary |
What’s missing is bonds and custom products that some brokerages offer. TabTrade also doesn’t provide fractional shares that may appeal to newer traders or extended hours on US shares, which some firms have introduced in recent years.

Fees & Costs
TabTrade’s pricing is mixed. On paper, the Standard account is the weakest option for short-term trading, with spreads from 1.0 pip translating to an estimated cost of about $1 per 0.10 lot, $10 per 1.00 lot, and $100 per 10 lots before any slippage. That commission-free structure may appeal to beginners, but for day traders and scalpers, the wider spread is likely to become expensive quickly.
The Edge account is more competitive for active retail traders. With raw spreads from 0.0 pips and a commission of $3.50 per side, the quoted round-turn commission comes out at roughly $0.70 per 0.10 lot, $7 per standard lot, and $70 per 10 lots, plus the raw spread. That is a more serious setup for high-frequency or short-term strategies, although the value will depend heavily on how close real-world spreads stay to zero during live market conditions.
The VIP account offers the best value, with custom commissions and pricing described as typically lower than Edge, but the $25,000 minimum deposit simply puts it out of reach for most retail traders. For that reason, the best pricing at TabTrade appears reserved for larger accounts rather than the average short-term trader.
Because TabTrade is a newer broker, we have not yet been able to independently test its live spreads and commissions across trading sessions or compare them directly against our industry benchmarks. Once we can verify pricing in real time, we will assess how closely its advertised spreads match actual execution and whether its all-in costs stack up against the best low-cost brokers for active traders.
There are also some less visible charges traders should be aware of beyond spreads and commissions that we uncovered digging through its documents. There may be possible fees tied to corporate actions on stock or index products, VPS charges, and administrative fees under TabTrade+. These are all fairly common, but still something to keep in mind if you plan on using these features.

Platforms & Tools
TabTrade offers a mix of third-party platforms and practical trading tools, with MetaTrader 5 the most widely available across devices (desktop, web and mobile). The main drawback is that the lack of proprietary software means TabTrade doesn’t provide much platform differentiation from most CFD brokers we’ve tested.
Still, MT5 remains one of the best all-round platforms we’ve used for short-term trading, especially in the charting, order execution and algo trading departments.
TabTrade also offers extras like calculators, a Myfxbook-powered economic calendar, VPS hosting and FIX API connectivity for highly active users. TabTrade also says cTrader is coming soon, and references TradingView, but for now the main platform option is MT5.
If TabTrade executes these platforms cleanly, the setup should work well enough for short-term traders. We have not yet fully benchmarked TabTrade’s implementation of these tools in live trading conditions, so this assessment is currently based on the broker’s published tools and our prior experience using MT5, cTrader and similar third-party trading environments.
We’ve compared the various platforms and tools available below, including our observations from the tests we have been able to run so far.
| Platform/Tool | Key Features | Best For | Drawbacks |
|---|---|---|---|
| MetaTrader 5 | Desktop, web and mobile access; 21 timeframes; built-in economic calendar; depth of market; EAs via MQL5 | Active day traders, scalpers, algo traders | Interface can feel dated; learning curve for beginners |
| WebTrader | Browser-based; no download; live quotes and charts; full order management; full market access | Traders who need fast browser access | Usually less slick than desktop for heavy chart work |
| Mobile Trading | MT5 apps for iOS/Android; live quotes; interactive charts; push notifications | Monitoring positions and trading on the move | Small screen limits analysis and precision |
| Trading Calculators | Pip value, margin, position size, profit/loss and swap calculators in the client portal | Risk-conscious active traders | Portal-only tools can slow workflow |
| Automated Trading | MT5 Expert Advisors supported; 24/7 automation support across platforms | System traders and EA users | Quality depends on execution and VPS setup |
| Copy Trading | cTrader integration (coming soon); provider rankings by risk/returns/consistency; custom allocation controls | Hands-off traders and strategy followers | Less relevant for self-directed day traders |
| VPS Hosting | 24/7 hosting near Equinix London data centre; built for lower-latency algo trading | EA users and latency-sensitive traders | Most useful only if you actually automate |
| FIX API | Direct API connectivity; LD4/LD5 Equinix setup; institutional liquidity access; VIP account required | Veteran, quant and high-volume traders | Overkill for most retail traders; VIP traders only |

Research
TabTrade’s research is pretty thin at this stage. What is presented as a research hub is mainly ‘The Trading Tabloid’, while the examples on the homepage are not deep market analysis or trade ideas, but basic onboarding articles such as ‘What should I know before switching to TabTrade?’, i.e. they’re more about incentivising clients to trade.
For short-term traders, the main gap is the lack of broker-led market intelligence. We scoured the site and trading area and could not find a meaningful stream of daily analysis covering popular assets like EUR/USD or deeper macro commentary.
There is a Myfxbook-powered economic calendar, which was neatly presented and we found useful for staying aware of upcoming events during our tests, but this is a standard third-party tool offered by many CFD trading brokers.
Ultimately, traders who find their own opportunities may not care, but anyone looking for a broker to help inform and alert them to trading setups will be left disappointed.

Education
The educational tools need work. The ‘Academy’ claims we came across on the homepage suggest substantial and possibly even structured learning paths, yet all the articles we read were mostly entry-level explainers focused on switching brokers, account opening, and funding. They are heavily tied to getting users onto the platform rather than developing trading skills.
What we’d like to see TabTrade introduce is content on more advanced strategies, indicator deep dives, or recurring webinars covering short-term market moves. Even the ‘Placing Your First Trade’ guide is essentially a beginner MT5 walkthrough – it’s more support than education.

Customer Support
There is a support email (support@tabtrade.com) and live chat (icon in bottom right hand corner) on the website and in the account portal.
We tested both the email and live chat as part of our tests. Response times on email were good – we emailed at 14:49 and heard back at 15:16. We had questions about the additional fees for using the Swap-Free account (which were responded to by an AI agent called Tabitha and didn’t provide much detail beyond saying they’ll be included in the spread and may vary).
When we queried on live chat when they’d go live we were immediately told “We’re already open for live accounts!” This wasn’t true, but to their credit, a human support agent did then join and explain they should open later in March.
The push is to join TabTrade+ for better support, notably a higher priority chat channel and phone access to a personal account manager at a cost of $59 per month, and also bringing VIP pricing on forex and metals. We will revisit and test this when the service is live. But for now, our experience with customer service points to reasonable but not exceptional for standard users.
One useful detail we unearthed in its legal docs is that TabTrade has a formal complaints path. Clients are told to start with support, escalate unresolved issues to compliance, and then if still unresolved after 45 days, refer the matter to the FSRA of Saint Lucia or another body designated by that authority.
The positive is that there is a documented escalation route; the drawback is that it remains an offshore dispute framework rather than the stronger ombudsman-style protections some active traders will be used to at heavily regulated brokers.

Who Is TabTrade Best For?
Based on our assessment, TabTrade is the best fit for:
- Experienced day traders who can deposit at least $250 for the Edge account. This is the main account that is really built for active traders, with raw spreads from 0.0 pips, $3.50 per side commission, and LD5 routing.
- Traders familiar with MT5 and who do not care about broker-built software. If you already use EAs and/or a VPS, TabTrade has you covered without forcing you into a gimmicky proprietary platform.
- Speculative traders with a large risk appetite seeking high leverage and wide CFD access from one account. There’s leverage up to 1:1000 and more than 1,000 assets.
Who Should Avoid TabTrade?
- Cost-conscious traders who can only deposit enough for the Standard account. The setup of spreads from 1.0 pips and no commission can be the wrong trade-off for scalpers and intraday traders.
- Beginner traders who want hand holding with regular technical summaries and actionable education. So far TabTrade leans on basic onboarding content with limited serious market intelligence for active traders.
- Retail traders who want premium trading conditions but don’t have deep pockets. The more compelling setups like the VIP account needs $25,000, while extras like priority support are also reserved for paid/subscription members.
What Does The Wider Trading Community Think?
TabTrade is very new – it’s going fully operational in 2026. As a result, there is little in terms of user feedback to suggest whether it’s a good broker or not.
We searched for it on TrustPilot, Reddit, and Reviews.io, and there were no comments or ratings yet, though TabTrade has claimed its TrustPilot profile, likely in anticipation of feedback trickling in when it’s fully active.
Note, you may see feedback for TabTrader on the third-party review sites mentioned, but we checked them and they relate to the cryptocurrency exchange, which is a separate company and brand.

Feedback from other traders can be a useful indication when weighing a new broker or switching provider, though we always recommend caution as reviews and ratings cannot always be trusted. We will revisit this in the future and provide an update if/when TabTrade does attract more comments.
We also checked social media and TabTrade has accounts on Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn, but were only posting on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn during our latest checks. We expect this, along with social media engagement, will pick up as the broker goes fully live.
How We Tested TabTrade
We have only been able to perform limited tests of TabTrade so far due to it not being fully operational. Still, we:
- Searched for it on Saint Lucia’s regulatory databases to confirm legitimacy. It is a real company registered there.
- Checked 10 major regulator databases, including the UK FCA and Germany BaFin, for any news or announcements that TabTrade may be a scam or a clone. We found no evidence.
- Reviewed TabTrade’s public legal materials, including its Financial Services Guide, to identify how the broker describes its execution model, complaints handling, client protections and fees.
- Checked whether features marketed on the website, including cTrader, FIX API and MAM/PAMM, were clearly documented and available enough to assess beyond headline marketing claims.
- Signed up for an account. We provided our contact details, including email address, so we’d be notified when more products and services can be properly used.
- Scoured every inch of its website using an Apple Mac, iPhone, and Samsung Galaxy, all with the latest operating systems, to check the tools that are available, such as the economic calendar, work as described.
- Sent over five queries to the TabTrade team across email and live chat – speaking directly with human agents, as well as its AI chatbot.
- Looked for feedback from the wider trading community from three well-regarded review and forum websites.
When TabTrade is fully operational we will run further, hands-on tests to more comprehensively test its offering. This will include trying all of the tools in the client area, placing trades on its MT5 platform across desktop, web and mobile, recording and analyzing fees across different trading conditions, and measuring execution speed and quality.
