Trading Platforms

Traders can speculate on the financial markets using several user-friendly platforms.

InstaForex offers the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms. MT4 and MT5 provide one-click trading, between 9 (MT4) and 21 (MT5) timeframes, support for automated trading, a range of indicators and analysis tools, financial news updates, and secure logins.

InstaForex also offers a MultiTerminal solution. Compatible with MetaTrader 4, the terminal allows user to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. The downloadable software is compatible with Windows OS.

The online broker also offers a straightforward WebTrader platform. Clients can trade directly through an internet browser, with no download required. The WebTrader offers three layouts (Classic, Dashboard, Charts), market news and forex analysis, plus synchronization with InstaForex’s other platforms.

Assets

Our experts found InstaForex offers over 300 instruments. In addition to a long list of forex pairs, clients can trade stocks and shares, indices, InstaFutures, plus spot instruments like gold and silver. The broker also offers leveraged CFDs on major indices, such as the S&P 500, Dow Jones, Nasdaq, and FTSE 100.

A dozen cryptocurrencies are also available. Cryptos can be traded against the USD with competitive spreads and a 0.1% fee.

Spreads & Commission

InstaForex offers fixed spreads on all assets apart from major forex pairs.

During periods of low volatility (23:30 to 03:00 terminal time), spreads on major currency pairs can reach 10 pips. During such market conditions, we found that EUR/CZK and EUR/SEK could double, GBP/CHF could rise to 13 pips, and USD/ZAR could climb to 200 pips.

Shares and crypto also incur a 0.1% fee while the tick cost for InstaFutures is 0.01.

Leverage

When we used InstaForex, leverage between 1:1 and 1:1000 was available to us. Traders can choose the leverage they need to suit their strategy and risk appetite.

In comparison to competitors, InstaForex offers high leverage which means greater profit potential in return for a small initial deposit. It is worth noting, of course, that leverage can magnify losses too.

Payment Methods

InstaForex offers a selection of international and local payment methods. Traders can deposit and withdraw using traditional wire transfers, bank cards, popular e-wallets, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, plus local transfer solutions.

Deposit times vary from instant with some options, such as PayCo, to three hours with crypto payments, and up to 24 hours with bank cards. Most local transfers are processed within two working days.

InstaForex does not charge for deposits and withdrawals, but third-party fees may apply.

Note, the payment system and currency must be the same for both deposits and withdrawals.

InstaForex processes payments Monday to Friday, 10 am – 7 pm (UTC+3).

Micro Forex, for example, is available with a lot volume of 0.0001 of the market lot (the lot price is 0.1 U.S. cents) and allows practicing with limited risk to deposits.
