Comment by Reviewer
"LQDFX is best for active day traders looking for ultra-tight spreads, low fees and high leverage up to 1:1000. Forex traders will particularly appreciate the strong range of 70+ currency pairs with minimum deposits starting from $20." "After exploring the broker, I think Tradeview is a good choice for experienced traders looking for a no-frills brokerage service with rapid ECN execution, tight spreads and feature-rich software. Conversely, with the lack of top-tier regulation and educational materials, beginners may want to look elsewhere."
Pros
  • There are multiple STP account types with fast execution speeds, plus an Islamic swap-free option and PAMM accounts
  • The broker offers the industry favorite MT4 platform and mobile app, with 30 technical indicators for chart analysis
  • The $20 minimum initial deposit is accessible for beginners, and the Micro account will serve those looking to trade in smaller volumes
  • Tight forex spreads from 0.0 are available in the raw spread account and the $3.50 per lot commissions are in line with competitors
  • Leverage is available up to 1:1000 for experienced day traders
  • The main thing that stands out for me is the wide range of platforms available at Tradeview, including the MetaTrader terminals, cTrader and Currenex, plus several software options for the broker’s real stocks trading service
  • Through STP/ECN execution, the broker is able to achieve raw pricing on popular assets. Tradeview also charges very low commissions from $2.50 per lot per side
  • My tests uncovered a strong range of 60+ currency pairs, which is above the industry average and should allow serious forex traders to explore plenty of opportunities
  • I found a decent range of payment methods available at Tradeview, with no deposit fees and same-day processing times
  • In addition, TradeView is a liquidity provider for other firms, underlining their reliability.
Cons
  • There are no additional charting platforms available, such as MT5 or a proprietary solution
  • The lack of regulatory oversight is a concern, although the broker does claim to use segregated accounts and balance protection
  • It's a shame that there's no copy trading platform for beginners or experienced strategy providers
  • Market research tools and educational resources are very limited compared to top brands like IG
  • A key drawback for me is the lack of top-tier regulatory oversight. The broker’s offshore regulation with CIMA may mean that traders won’t receive robust fund protection measures. They are however, looking to bolster this area in the near future.
  • I was a little disappointed to find a $35 fee for bank wire withdrawals and a 1-1.5% fee for Skrill and Neteller

CFD Trading
LQDFX offers a modest collection of CFDs covering currencies, metals, stocks, indices, commodities and cryptos. The 50+ technical indicators and drawing tools pre-included in MT4 will facilitate both short-term and long-term strategies. My tests uncovered around 100 CFD products covering forex, indices, commodities and cryptos. Leverage is available up to 1:400 and it’s good to see that scalping, hedging and EA strategies are permitted.

Forex Trading
LQDFX offers an extensive list of 70+ currency pairs, more than most alternatives. Spreads are low, coming in at 0.2 pips for EUR/GBP during peak market hours and the low/no commission models will suit beginners and high-volume forex traders. I’m happy with Tradeview’s strong range of 60+ currency pairs spanning majors, minors and exotics with competitive spreads from 0 pips in the $1000 ILC account. Traders can choose from several platforms, but I was particularly impressed with the feature-rich Currenex platform which is designed specifically for currency trading.

Cryptocurrency
You can trade 16 well-known cryptos including Bitcoin, the majority paired with USD or EUR. Spreads are low, starting from 1.02 pips. You can also deposit instantly via crypto with minimum deposits from $20 and no fees. I found 5 crypto products at Tradeview: BTCUSD, ETHUSD, LTCUSD, XRPUSD and BTCJPY. Whilst this isn’t the widest range, beginners should have enough opportunities to explore the market. Plus, with STP/ECN execution, traders should be able to access relatively competitive prices.
