FXCC Review 2026
See the best FXCC alternatives in your location.
Pros
- FXCC’s ECN XL account has been built with active traders in mind, featuring spreads from 0.0 with no commission, while also passing our execution speed benchmark for day traders.
- FXCC has stepped up its offering over the years, adding MT5 to its suite of platforms, hundreds of stocks and more cryptos to its product line-up, plus a copy trading feature and greater margin trading opportunities.
- The free VPS for qualifying traders and the ability to build or buy EAs on MetaTrader make FXCC a strong option for algo traders.
Cons
- Although FXCC has bolstered its range of markets with US, European and Asian stocks, the choice of metals and energies is light, and there are no soft commodities.
- FXCC charges steep withdrawal fees on many of its payment methods, including $45 for bank transfers and 2% crypto transfers, which may cut into the returns of traders making regular withdrawals.
- Although the economic calendar has benefited from a facelift, FXCC still offers very little in terms of market research beyond basic daily technical analysis and aggregated market news, with no tools like Autochartist or social sentiment data.
FXCC Review
We’ve been evaluating FXCC since 2020, assessing its products for active traders, and revisiting this review with details of changes and the results of our latest tests. Find out what FXCC does well, where it still needs to improve, and which types of trader it suits.
Regulation & Trust
FXCC is a trusted broker because it’s authorized by a ‘green tier’ body (CySEC) in our Trust Rating, it’s established, having been operational since 2010, and it’s earned the confidence of our panel over 5+ years of testing.
FX Central Clearing Ltd is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), under license number 121/10. European regulation means FXCC must meet strict business standards and implement safeguards like negative balance protection and segregated client accounts.
Outside of Europe, FXCC is regulated via Central Clearing Ltd (KM) by the Mwali International Services Authorities (MISA), under license number BFX2024085. This is a ‘red tier’ body in our regulator classification system, which means clients can access features like higher leverage up to 1:1000 (it’s capped at 1:30 for retail clients at the CySEC entity), but you may lose safeguards like access to investor compensation in the event the broker becomes insolvent.
Trader testimonials are generally positive, with FXCC receiving average ratings of over 4/5 in the user feedback left at the bottom of our FXCC review and also on TrustPilot.

Accounts & Banking
Live Accounts
FXCC offers one primary live account for active retail traders: ECN XL. It’s fairly unique in that it offers the raw spreads from 0.0 pips many short-term traders seek, but without charging a commission, which is typically levied on raw spread accounts.
FXCC uses servers in New York, London, Germany, and Hong Kong – covering major trading hubs, and paired with its fast ECN enviornment, allows it to offer fast, low latency execution to active traders.
There’s a 50% stop-out level and leverage is available up to 1:1000 – a jump from the 1:500 it used to offer.
FXCC also has an ‘ECN Promo’ account, which is advertised as ‘coming soon’, but we’ve not seen this materialise in the years we’ve been evaluating FXCC.
We’ve opened an ECN account, and the sign-up process itself is fully digital and smooth. Plus, there’s a swap-free solution for Muslim traders available upon request, and it doesn’t come with additional charges.
Deposits & Withdrawals
FXCC offers a standard selection of payment methods, including bank cards (Visa and Mastercard), e-wallets (Skrill and Neteller), crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT ERC-20, USDT TRC-20, USDT BEP-20), and wire transfers.
All deposits are fee-free except mining fees with crypto, but withdrawals can come with charges, including $45 for bank transfers (a fee most brokers don’t charge) and 2% for using Neteller and crypto. We’d stick to withdrawing via card to avoid a fee.
FXCC added Canadian dollars (CAD) as an account base currency, catering to traders in Canada looking for hassle-free deposits, withdrawals and account management.

Bonuses
FXCC runs bonus offers in certain jurisdictions, notably a 100% deposit bonus up to $2,000. This is essentially credit that can be used for practicing setups and exploring MetaTrader.
However, we’ve been through the terms and conditions, and the bonus can’t be withdrawn, while if your account balance reaches below 50% of the available bonus credit, the amount will be removed. It’s also only available on MT4 – not MT5 (we checked with FXCC’s customer support).
Demo Account
FXCC has a demo trading account with an exceptionally large virtual balance of up to $5 million, providing an opportunity to try its MT4 and MT5 platforms before committing to a live account.
Signing up for a paper trading account takes minutes. You can open one in the client portal and you don’t need to complete identity verification. You just choose the platform (MT4 or MT5), leverage (up to 1:1000), and currency (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD).
Platform login details are then provided, as well as emailed to the address you used to register.

Fees & Costs
The pricing model at FXCC works well if you’re an active trader – tight ECN spreads with no commission.
While pips are advertised as starting at 0.0 pips, you should expect wider spreads depending on the instrument and market conditions. For example, during our last checks, average spreads on EUR/USD often fell between 0.0 pips and 0.1 pips, EUR/GBP between 0.3 and 0.6 pips, and gold between 12.0 and 20.0.
FXCC does fall down for its withdrawal charges on most payment methods. It’s also worth keeping in mind that a $5 inactivity fee is charged after 120 days of no activity.

Platforms & Tools
FXCC is a MetaTrader broker, supporting trading via MT4 and MT5, with MT5 added in 2025. Both platforms are available as a desktop client, as a web trader, and on mobile for iOS and Android.
These long-time industry favorites are starting to show their age after decades since their release, with an outdated design. However, they are dependable with strong charting packages and excellent automation capabilities via Expert Advisors (EAs), making them popular with serious traders.

MT5, in particular, is a step up for advanced traders, providing more order types, timeframes, technical indicators, and an economic calendar. As a comparison, MT4 has 30 indicators, 24 drawing tools, 3 chart types, and 9 timeframes, while MT5 has 38 indicators, 44 drawing tools, 3 chart types, and 21 timeframes.
On both platforms, placing a trade is quick and can be completed in a few clicks via the ‘Market Watch’ window, where you can also configure stop loss and take profit levels. Alternatively, you can turn on one-click trading.
The automated trading suite of tools in MetaTrader works well with FXCC’s free forex VPS, hosted by BeeksFX, which is available to traders who deposit at least $2,500 and trade at least 30 lots per month.
Copy Trading
FXCC has added support for copy trading, which may appeal to traders looking to follow more experienced traders and those who wish to become a strategy provider and earn a performance fee.
Copy trading works through MT5 and allows newcomers to find strategy providers based on performance metrics, including maximum drawdown and percentage total return. Followers can also choose their own risk settings, including following proportionally by balance or equity.

Research
FXCC disappoints in the research department. There’s a free economic calendar in the client area, high-level daily technical analysis on prominent currency pairs like EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and JPY/USD, and daily market news that’s aggregated from other sources.
What it’s missing is the deeper insights in-house analysts could provide and wider market coverage beyond the best known currencies and equities.
Ultimately, while some other brokers invest in market coverage video streams, provide social sentiment data, and AI-powered calendars that categorise events by impact, FXCC takes a more bare bones approach.

Education
FXCC scores slightly better in terms of educational content with some basic e-books, articles, and a glossary of key terms.
However, we’ve read many of the articles and often found the delivery bland with long-form text and limited videos or engaging elements like quizzes. So while some brokers are building dedicated academies and creating comprehensive guides to upskill traders, FXCC is falling behind.

Customer Support
FXCC offers 24/5, multilingual and reliable customer support based on our hands-on tests.
We’ve used the live chat function over 15 times across more than five years, and received timely responses within three minutes each time. Agents have been friendly and provided sufficient answers to our queries, which have covered everything from withdrawals and platforms to margin trading and bonus terms. And crucially, there’s no frustrating chatbot in sight.
The broker also provides an online email form, where responses are slower, and telephone assistance via +44 203 150 0832.

Is FXCC Good For Day Trading?
FXCC is a good fit for day traders seeking ECN execution with zero commissions. It has a particularly strong selection of forex pairs, and in more recent times, equities. With MT4 and MT5, plus a free VPS for qualifying traders, it also caters to algo traders.
However, beginners wanting educational tools should look elsewhere. Since increasing its leverage to 1:1000 through its MISA-registered entity, risk management is also even more important for newer traders.
FAQ
Is FXCC Legit Or A Scam?
FXCC is a legitimate broker. It’s regulated by the CySEC and has been active since 2010. We’ve opened accounts and used its platforms many times over the years – we’re comfortable that it’s not a scam.
Is FXCC Good For Beginners?
FXCC is an average broker for beginners. Positives are the no minimum deposit, free demo account and excellent support. But it lacks deep education and research tools that go beyond the surface level of market moves and trading concepts.
Does FXCC Offer Low Fees?
FXCC is a low-cost brokerage with zero commissions and spreads that are generally competitive from our tests, especially on major currency pairs.
However, it falls down on non-trading fees, with withdrawal charges that could erode the returns of active traders making frequent withdrawals.
Does FXCC Have A Mobile App?
FXCC does not have a proprietary mobile app, but MT4 and MT5 can be downloaded to Android and Apple devices.
We’ve used them both on iPhones and Samsung devices, and they sync well with FXCC’s ECN execution, providing the full suite of instruments and trading conditions of the XL account.

If you have traded with FXCC we would really like to know about your experience - please submit your own review. Thank you.
Here are the pros and cons of day trading with FXCC based on my own experience using the platform. Good things: Solid MT4 integration. ECN execution delivers in choppy markets. Margin trading opps to maximize results. Opening an account is well easy. Bad things: support is a pain in the backside – open the live chat, they make you wait minutes and then if you don’t reply super fast they’ve closed it!! No profit/loss calulcators to help plan positions (my old FX broker had this). Overall, FXCC is a middle tier brokerage for day trading in my view.
Excellent choice for traders who look for an ECN broker with the lowest possible trading costs! It’s amazing how they provide raw spreads without the standard ecn account commission!
Fxcc has its own pros and cons, like any other service. The main thing that possibly attracts everyone in them, is how affordable their trading terms are. Tbh, I had difficulty finding the broker, with the same spreads, at the same time not charging any fees that even deposit fees are covered. If only they add MT5 or smth similar, it would be great. I guess, it’s not that hard a task to do.
I like to trade with these guys, but they definitely need to create an alternative to the ECN XL acc
I started using this platform earlier this year and I would say it isn’t bad… the withdrawals are cool and the deposit isn’t bad, the broker only offers one account that provides the best trading conditions and multiple assets to trade with.
I can say that trading on FXCC has been good. They have a very good spread and a strong platform that did not freeze during high volume times, Altogether, for the person who wants simple and fairly stable trading conditions without lots of added extras, FXCC is good.
I think 1:500 leverage is enough!! More means you can control bigger trade, but the risk also gets bigger. So x500 is good moderation.
I like the way my interaction with this broker started.
I got bonus when I opened trading account!
And I also think that FXCC trading account has really good trading conditions.
I can also say that broker’s platform has some positive characteristics. Although it has a rather outdated design.
But what’s more important to me is that I have access to a large selection of tools!
Its the best of both worlds because they offer safe trading + bonuses. I could withdraw, but also trade on higher margin.
Also bonuses for compleating verification, which is very easy to do. Like typical, these bonuses I couldnt just withdraw, they can only be withdrawn once you traded a lot. But no reason not to take them, its straight-up improvement & safety net.
I know many brokers have this promotion, but FXCC is the easiest to start with + I didnt need to deposit crazy amounts like 4k or 10k to get it. Bonus starts even from like five bucks I think, and still works.
I stumbled upon the FXCC broker by chance. I was looking for attractive account types and discovered that their ECN XL account has gathered plenty of awards.
After checking out the reliability of FXCC, I decided to give it a try. I was reserved regarding the spreads, and how it is possible to offer raw spreads without additional fees, but it happened to be true… the spreads were truly raw.
I can’t understand their business model, but I couldn’t care less about it… all I am interested in now is to trade as long as this offer for an ECN account without a trading fee lasts 🙂
