Before you sign up and login, follow this broker review for a breakdown of deposit and withdrawal methods, no deposit welcome bonus deals, demo accounts, and more.
4XC is a brand name of Geomatrix Limited, a company based in the Cook Islands and regulated by the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC).
4xCube has over two decades of experience across financial markets, providing access to forex, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrencies on the MetaTrader platforms. The broker also offers additional tools for advanced traders, including PAMM accounts and social copy-trading platforms.
The MT4 platform is a top choice among many traders, offering a suite of tools to support algorithmic trading. Users enjoy dozens of technical indicators and graphical objects, plus a range of timeframes for accurate price movement analysis.
Traders can also execute advanced orders using risk management tools and access a full history of trades. MT4 can be installed directly from the website and is compatible with Windows PCs.
As MT4’s successor, the MT5 platform is more feature-rich and is ideal for the experienced trader. The platform offers a wider range of indicators and timeframes while also supporting an economic calendar, Depth of Market view, and a native community chat. MT5 is also available for download on Windows computers.
4XC offers over 50 currency pairs, including majors, minors, and exotics. There are also 11 stock indices on offer, precious metals such as gold and silver, plus oil and a small selection of cryptocurrencies. Unsurprisingly, user reviews praise the decent collection of instruments available, though trading on stocks would be a welcome addition.
Spreads & Commission
Spreads are competitive at 4xCube, starting at 0.7 pips for EUR/USD in the Standard account and going as low as 0.2 pips for the same pair in the Pro account. The Standard and VIP accounts are commission-free and there is a reasonable $3 per round-turn lot in the Pro account. This makes the broker a decent option if you’re looking to keep trading fees down.
Overnight financing is also charged on positions carried over into the next day. This rate is tripled on Wednesdays to cover weekend charges.
Leverage is available up to 1:400 for forex products across all accounts at 4XC. Margin requirements on CFDs follow a specific formula and are provided within the platforms. Traders should take care when trading on margin, as it carries a high risk and can lead to considerable losses.
4xCube offers the MT4 mobile app for convenient trading on the move. The app supports a number of mobile-friendly features, including push alerts and interactive one-touch trading. Users can also access advanced technical analysis tools, history feeds, and live pricing, all from an iPhone or Android device.
There’s a diverse range of deposit methods at 4xCube, including bank transfers, credit cards, cryptocurrencies, and e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller. Most methods are instant but will incur a fee. For example, there is a 3% fee on card deposits, 0.5% on FasaPay, and 6% on Perfect Money. If you’re a non-EU customer using Skrill or Neteller, there are no fees. The minimum account deposit is $10.
Most withdrawals are processed in 1 business day but some may incur a commission. Skrill and Neteller will cost 3% to withdraw, whilst cards cost 0.15%. SEPA bank transfers incur a €5 fee and SWIFT transfers cost $49.
4XC offers a 14-day demo account which can be used to test out either of the MetaTrader platforms. Traders are free to familiarize themselves with the platforms and experience live pricing within a virtual environment. Demo accounts are loaded with 50,000 EUR or USD, which can be topped up at request.
4XC does not offer any no deposit deals, welcome bonuses or contests at this time. Traders could try the social media pages for any future announcements of bonuses.
Geomatrix Ltd (4xCube) is registered in the Cook Islands and regulated by the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), under license number MC03/2018. It’s worth noting the FSC is not as reputable as agencies like the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
The broker does segregate client funds in separate accounts and is also audited by BDO, a reputable audit firm. As of 2019, the broker is also a member of the Financial Commission, which ensures that the broker is backed by a 20,000 EUR compensation fund.
There’s a good array of additional resources at 4xCube, including comprehensive beginner and advanced trading guides and courses, which are full of digestible short videos. There’s also some MT4 and MT5 tutorials, market news and analysis, on-demand webinars, and a customisable economic calendar.
4xCube also offers a market signals service, plus ZuluTrade and HokoCloud copy trading platforms. You can also integrate other automated trading tools, including SwapHunter, an MT4 carry-trade indicator that allows you to earn interest on the daily rollover; and 8Topuz, an artificial intelligence investing software.
