Forex Trading

AdroFX has a good forex offering of more than 60 pairs, which can be traded with up to 1:500 leverage via the MT4 platform or copy-traded with Allpips. The broker also offers very tight spreads starting from 0.4 pips and charges no commission.

Stock Trading

AdroFX offers 40+ stocks and shares CFDs on major US companies, including Tesla and Microsoft. These can be traded with leverage and fast execution, but as they are CFDs you will not directly own a share in the companies.

CFD Trading

AdroFX offers a good suite of CFDs on stocks, cryptos, indices and commodities, with high leverage up to 1:500. CFD trading is done through the reliable MT4 platform, while a separate Allpips platform is available for copy trading.

Crypto Trading

AdroFX traders can access a narrow range of four crypto CFDs. This broker does not work as an exchange or wallet, meaning that only derivatives trading and not ownership of crypto assets is available.

AdroFX is an online broker offering multiple account types, low fees and reliable trading platforms. In this AdroFX review, our experts investigate the broker’s trust and safety rating, funding options, copy trading tools, and customer service. Find out if our team recommend trading with AdroFX.

Assets & Markets

AdroFX provides a relatively good selection of instruments through CFDs. In total, there are over 115 financial assets that can be traded, facilitating a range of profit opportunities, market exposure, and risk management strategies.

We were pleased to see that AdroFX covers many of the most popular financial markets, including forex, stocks, cryptocurrencies, indices and commodities. Our team particularly liked the suite of US shares that were available, including big firms like Apple, Amazon and Tesla.

To improve its rating further, we would like to see the brand extend its commodities, as only a couple of spot metals are currently offered.

AdroFX scores fairly well in terms of trading fees, partly due to the transparent pricing structure. There are no commissions while tight spreads vary between accounts.

Spreads start as low as 0.3 pips with the Pro account and are kept minimal through to the Micro account, which offers an accessible minimum deposit of just $25. Typical spreads on major forex pairs, such as the EUR/USD, are 0.8 pips, while on gold the average spread is higher at 40 pips. Spreads on stock CFDs vary between assets, but expect to pay around 55 points on leading brands like Apple.

The broker is also upfront about additional fees, with details of overnight rates listed on the official website.

On the downside, the company does charge a $5 inactivity fee when an account hasn’t been used in over six months.

Account Types

AdroFX stands out for its multiple account offerings, split between the MT4 and Allpips platforms. Ultimately, the best profile for you will depend on the platform you want to use, the size of your minimum deposit, your trading strategy, and the instruments you want to trade. We highlight the key features and differences below.

MT4 Accounts

There are five primary account types offered on the MT4 platform, each with differing levels of accessibility and functionality:

Micro Account

A good pick for beginners:

Micro Pro

A good pick for beginners with a higher budget:

Standard Account

Suitable for typical traders:

Premium Account

Suitable for experienced traders and those looking for stocks:

Pro Account

Suitable for high-volume traders looking for tighter spreads:

We also rated that AdroFX offers a swap-free account that facilitates halal, Islamic trading. Swap-free accounts can be opened with the Standard, Premium and Pro account templates.

Allpips Accounts

The Allpips platform comes with three account options and facilitate copy trading.

The Crypto account has the same features as the Fiat account, except here the minimum deposit is $100 in Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH). With that in mind, it’s the best pick for traders that deal in digital currencies.

The Cent account is a replica of the MT4 Micro described above. The key difference is that copy trading is available while expert-advisors are not supported.

How To Open An AdroFX Account

We found the sign-up process quick and easy. To get started:

  1. Fill out the registration form on the broker’s website
  2. Provide your name, email, country of residence, phone number and password
  3. Confirm your email address and verify it using the link

Deposits & Withdrawals

AdroFX offers a solid range of payment methods. Deposits can be made via bank transfer, for which the processing time is one to five working days, the minimum deposit is $200 and the only fee is any bank commissions.

For those aiming to focus their investments in crypto markets, the broker accepts fee-free cryptocurrency deposits using Tether, Bitcoin and Ethereum. There is also a range of commonplace e-wallets that can be used to deposit USD, GBP and EUR. Deposits made using e-wallets and cryptos have a minimum limit of $25 and are processed within one hour.

Withdrawals take 24 hours to process and can be performed using any of the available deposit methods. However, AdroFX charges commissions and fees on most options and not all methods have minimum transfer limits as low as those for deposits. This is a notable drawback vs alternative brokers. For example, the minimum withdrawal for Tether is $20 and fees are priced at $10.

Helpfully, a detailed breakdown of all the charges can be found on the broker’s official website.

AdroFX Leverage

Like many offshore brokers, AdroFX offers high leverage up to 1:500. But whilst this can be helpful in terms of increasing position sizes and earning potential, the risk of losses is also magnified, so care should be taken.

The margin call ranges from 10% (Standard, Premium, Pro, Fiat, Crypto) to 55% (Micro, Cent) depending on the account, while the stop-out level ranges from 5% (Standard, Premium, Pro, Fiat, Crypto) to 20% (Micro, Cent).

Note that leverage rates may vary for investors in different financial jurisdictions, as dictated by local regulations.

Trading Platforms

Our experts were reassured to see the reliable MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform is available, as well as the Allpips copy trading terminal. This gives users a choice of stable trading software, with the added bonus that they are available as mobile apps.

MetaTrader 4

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) has a good range of features, including bespoke charting options, market analysis tools, technical indicators and support for algorithmic and social trading. A selection of instant and pending order types are also available, plus an integrated newsfeed.

In addition, MT4 comes with the option for a multi-terminal. This allows users to manage multiple accounts at the same time with one master login and password.

All of these features are available via desktop software, a web browser, or through an easy-to-use mobile app.

Ultimately, MT4 will cater to both active traders and newer investors.

AdroFX also offers Allpips, which integrates technology and design to provide its clients with a unique learning experience and a user-friendly investing environment.

The platform offers multiple chart types, technical indicators and analysis tools, plus support for several trading windows and custom watchlists. We particularly liked the slick dashboard where you can keep on top of your trades with information on profit, balance, and margin.

Clients are also able to automatically copy the positions of successful investors. When the pros open or close a trade, so do their followers. This is a particularly useful feature for beginners who may not be as confident in their trading abilities.

Our team also appreciated that AdroFX has ensured that copy trading is available on all asset classes with 24/5 trading times.

How To Start Copy Trading

Traders can get started with the AdroFX Allpips copy trading solution in a few easy steps:

  1. Find a trader who aligns with your objectives and risk tolerance (you can filter by profit, number of followers and more)
  2. Decide how much you want to invest (you can split capital between multiple traders)
  3. Automatically mirror trades and strategies from your account
  4. Monitor your portfolio from the intuitive dashboard

Mobile App

On the downside, AdroFX does not offer its own mobile app. However, clients have access to the MetaTrader 4 app on both iOS and Android. With 5-star ratings from tens of thousands of investors, the MT4 application gives its users comprehensive control over their accounts, efficient on-the-go trading and a range of analysis functionalities.

Deposits and withdrawals can be made from the app. One-click trading is also supported, plus users get access to the MetaTrader marketplace, where thousands of custom indicators and signals can be downloaded.

In addition, our team were pleased to see seamless integration between the desktop software and mobile application, providing a smooth online trading experience.

Demo Account

Another bonus is that AdroFX offers a free demo account for clients to familiarize themselves with trading on its platforms. With zero deposit required, this is a risk-free alternative to the live market experience that is available on desktop and mobile.

The demo account incorporates helpful elements like free market data and real-time news, which are available alongside a quick-start guide. There are also demo account customization options, including a range of leverage limits from 1:1 up to 1:500.

Bonuses & Promotions

AdroFX holds regular contests and promotions, which can be found on its website. These can upgrade the trading experience and profit potential. Most notably, there is a competitive 100% bonus offer, automatically doubling any initial deposit.

It should be noted, however, that these deals are not available in all financial jurisdictions. Also, we always recommend checking bonus terms and conditions as wagering requirements can make it hard to withdraw bonus credits and associated profits.

Regulation & License

AdroFX is a worldwide broker comprised of several geographically dependent business entities, each of which is regulated by corresponding financial bodies:

However, our experts were disappointed to see that the firm isn’t authorized by any tier-one regulators, such as the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This does bring down the brand’s trust score.

Security & Safety

We were pleased to see that AdroFX incorporates several security protocols into its business structure to ensure the safety of its users’ capital. The broker never shares personal information and all transactions and information transfers are protected by SSL encryptions. Additionally, client funds are kept in segregated bank accounts.

AdroFX also offers negative balance protection, helping to minimize losses in the case of severe downturns by exiting trades once the losses exceed the account’s value. However, this is not a perfect system and extreme reversals on positions using high leverage rates cannot always be caught, especially during periods of low liquidity.

Additional Features

AdroFX scores fairly average in terms of education and market research.

There is a helpful news and blogs section on its website as well as a fully-fledged economic calendar, VPS hosting, and ebooks. These informational shortcuts help customers stay abreast of the latest developments. They are also particularly useful for beginners interested in learning fundamental analysis.

On the downside, the daily market analysis is limited compared to other brokers. The education materials also do not compare to leading alternatives.

Customer Support

When we used AdroFX, the support service was adequate. The broker offers live, professional support throughout their trading hours.

The customer service team can be contacted via email and telephone using the details below. On the downside, we were disappointed to see that live chat is not provided, which often provides a speedy response if you encounter withdrawal problems or account issues.

Company Details

With a team of 100+ experienced professionals, the company has a track record of strong financial results. Offering one of the most popular CFD trading platforms and providing live support 24/5, AdroFX is a trusted innovator.

The firm’s management team are customer-focussed, developing products to meet the needs of their traders. As a result, the company’s client base now spans 200 countries.

AdroFX has also picked up several industry awards, including for its STP/ECN execution and rapid growth.

Trading Hours

AdroFX is open for trading 24/5, Monday through Friday. However, the trading hours of different markets may vary within these bounds.

For example, while forex and crypto markets do not close overnight, stock markets open and close each day, with varying times depending on the location of the relevant market.

AdroFX Verdict

AdroFX is a well-regarded, international broker, earning it a large client base. Traders can take advantage of tight spreads, zero commissions and one of the world’s leading platforms – MetaTrader 4. While not offering the best range of financial instruments, most popular markets are covered, providing sufficient trading opportunities for most prospective clients.
