With over 30 years’ experience as a professional journalist, Christian worked primarily in the technology industry before switching to the financial industry to spend more time on his passion for trading and investing.
He has been trading stocks, futures, forex and cryptocurrencies for a significant portion of his time for over 5 years and has used all the major trading and charting platforms on the market.
Experience in risk management strategies to achieve consistent results through disciplined trading and comprehensive financial analysis led him to become an eToro Popular Investor, providing him with the opportunity to gain recognition and grow his reputation on the popular copy trading platform.
Christian holds a BA (Hons) in Publishing and is currently studying for his Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Investment Management qualifications.
In his personal portfolio, Christian is both an active trader and a long-term investor who has spent over 5 years trading indices and over 20 years investing in individual stocks. Alongside that, he’s held long-term positions in large-cap cryptocurrencies – a side of his portfolio that’s taught him as much as any chart.
He also manages his own SIPP and Stocks & Shares ISA, both built around global wealth accumulation funds and a diversified approach that’s always had one goal: sustainable, long-term growth.
Away from work, Christian enjoys reading, tending to his garden, and walking his dog (when it’s not raining). To unwind, Christian also enjoys video games.
