Land Prime is an international broker operating through multiple branches. Land-FX UK Ltd. is London-based and provides trading services to residents of the UK and European Economic Area (EEA). LandPrime Ltd. is registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines while Land-FX Ltd. is registered in Cyprus, and has multiple offices across Europe, Asia and North America.

MetaTrader 4

Designed for forex trading, MT4 is a data-rich platform with an intuitive design and advanced tools, making it great for newcomers and experienced traders alike. MT4 can be downloaded for free on Windows and Mac computers from the Land FX.com website and supports 30 languages.

MT4 comes with over 30 analysis tools, 9 timeframe options, 50 customisable indicators and supports algorithmic trading. MT4 also has a ZuluTrade copy trading terminal for ZuluTrade-activated accounts.

Note, MT4 is not available to clients from the UK and EU.

MetaTrader 5

MT5 is a more powerful platform than MT4, built and optimised for CFDs and stocks as well as forex trading. MT5 comes with 21 timeframe options, 2 additional types of pending orders, 8 more technical indicators, 44 chart analysis tools and deeper market depth. MT5 also has a more advanced algorithmic trading capabilities and a multi-threaded strategy testing system.

MT5 is available to all traders.

Assets

Land Prime provides a competitive range of tradeable instruments, including 67 forex pairs and two-dozen CFDs on metals, energies, and stock indices. The only notable absentees from their product list are cryptocurrencies and shares.

Spreads & Commissions

The broker predominantly takes its fee from the spread, with commissions only charged on ECN accounts at 3.5 pips per trade for global clients and 3 pips for UK and EU traders. ECN accounts have the most competitive spreads with average rates on EUR/GBP, EUR/USD and GBP/USD pairs at 0.8, 0.3 and 0.9 pips, respectively.

Land Prime also charges swap fees for holding a position open overnight, which varies with instrument and liquidity.

Leverage

Leverage rates are competitive, going up to 1:500 for global forex traders. Metals and energies can be leveraged up to 1:200 and 1:100. UK and EU traders are capped at a leverage rate of 1:200 for forex pairs. Leverage rates are reduced for large trade volumes.

Mobile Apps

Both MT4 and MT5 have been developed for mobile and are available to download for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. The mobile platforms are fully native and support all the account functions available on desktop platforms.

MT4’s mobile app comes with 3 charting types, 30 technical indicators and full trading histories. The MT5 mobile version is even more complete, with all order types, interactive charts, over 80 analysis tools, and one-touch trading.

Payment Methods

Land Prime has several payment options for funding and emptying accounts. Deposits are free and can be made via Visa and Mastercard, bank wire transfer, or Neteller. Global traders can also deposit with STICPAY while UK and EU clients can use Skrill.

Neteller and Skrill have minimum deposits of $1,000 for UK and EU clients. The processing times for most payment methods is 1-2 hours, except for bank transfers which can take up to 2 days.

Withdrawals must be made using the same method as the deposit, though will take longer to process.

Payment cards can take 4-7 working days whereas all other methods take 1-2 working days. It should be noted that withdrawal fees may be charged for some transaction methods.

Demo Account

A fully operational demo account is provided by Land Prime, with a full range of tradeable assets, rapid execution and a choice of leverage rates.

Global clients can practice with both MT4 and MT5 platforms, though UK and EU clients can only trial MT5. Up to $100,000 of virtual money can be used to explore trading strategies, charting types and analysis tools.

Land Prime also runs a weekly demo contest for global clients in which traders compete for a variety of prizes, with 1st place winning $500. Weekly winners are invited to demo championships, with a maximum prize of $3,000.

Participation is free, requiring only the registration of a Land Prime competition demo account and the MT4 software to get started.

Deals & Promotions

Land Prime offers global clients a 10% bonus on their first deposits, up to $3,000, provided enough trades are carried out. For example, a $30 bonus will be given if 6 lots worth of trading are carried out with the $300 deposit.

The required lot size rises with the deposit size up to 600 lots for a bonus of $3,000. There is also a 5% recovery bonus awarded to global clients if they achieve a margin call of $30.

Bonuses must be requested prior to registration by emailing the support team. It should also be noted that UK and EU regulations prevent the broker from offering bonuses to clients within those regions in 2024.

Regulation & Licensing

The global branch of Land Prime is licensed and regulated in St Vincent and the Grenadines by the Finance Services Authority (FSA).

The UK and EU branch is licensed by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which authorises the broker to provide its services anywhere in the EEA.

Land Prime UK is also part of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). The FSCS provides compensation to clients up to a maximum of £50,000, and the FOS impartially resolves disputes.

Additional Features

Land Prime provides an economic calendar on its website complete with timings, previous results and volatility ratings. A regularly updated market overview and analysis report is published on the global broker’s website under ‘Market Research’.

FIX API is a way to improve latency and execution times, linking traders directly to liquidity suppliers to remove slippage at busy times. UK and EU clients can apply for a FIX API for improved transparency, speeds and customisation.

Land Prime have also developed a Percent Allocation Management Module (PAMM) system for its global clients that allows traders to set up or invest in public funds.

There are easy visualisation and analysis tools, market history reports and profit distributions, all accessible on the website, requiring no download or installation.

Account Types

Land Prime offers three account types to its global users and three to its UK and EU clients. Each are offered an option that follows a dealing-desk broker model and one that follows an ECN model, though with different conditions.

The third option for global clients uses the ZuluTrade social trading system. The third option for UK and EU clients is a VIP account with a higher minimum deposit and tighter spreads.
