Comment by Reviewer
"After exploring the broker, I think Tradeview is a good choice for experienced traders looking for a no-frills brokerage service with rapid ECN execution, tight spreads and feature-rich software. Conversely, with the lack of top-tier regulation and educational materials, beginners may want to look elsewhere." "World Forex provides both highly leveraged CFDs and digital contracts, making this a good broker for clients who want flexible and rewarding ways to trade. The copy trading service will also appeal to newer traders."
Pros
  • The main thing that stands out for me is the wide range of platforms available at Tradeview, including the MetaTrader terminals, cTrader and Currenex, plus several software options for the broker’s real stocks trading service
  • Through STP/ECN execution, the broker is able to achieve raw pricing on popular assets. Tradeview also charges very low commissions from $2.50 per lot per side
  • My tests uncovered a strong range of 60+ currency pairs, which is above the industry average and should allow serious forex traders to explore plenty of opportunities
  • I found a decent range of payment methods available at Tradeview, with no deposit fees and same-day processing times
  • In addition, TradeView is a liquidity provider for other firms, underlining their reliability.
  • A wide range of assets to trade, including via digital contracts
  • Several different account types with varied pricing structures
  • MT4, MT5 and a proprietary trading terminal
  • Swap-free account available
  • 10+ accepted payment methods
  • Low deposit of $1
  • Copy trading solution
  • Educational content
  • STP/ECN technology
  • Demo account
  • VPS hosting
Cons
  • A key drawback for me is the lack of top-tier regulatory oversight. The broker’s offshore regulation with CIMA may mean that traders won’t receive robust fund protection measures. They are however, looking to bolster this area in the near future.
  • I was a little disappointed to find a $35 fee for bank wire withdrawals and a 1-1.5% fee for Skrill and Neteller
  • Weak regulation
  • Withdrawal fees apply
  • No negative balance protection

App Review

The WorldForex Trader Lite app offers very basic mobile trading capabilities. It took upwards of 30+ minutes just to get access to the trading app, with a frustrating process to open an account. The mobile interface itself has a subpar look and feel, encompassing basic charts and order windows. The other issue is that it’s slow and sometimes lags when you move between features and place trades. Ultimately, it trails category leaders.

CFD Trading
My tests uncovered around 100 CFD products covering forex, indices, commodities and cryptos. Leverage is available up to 1:400 and it’s good to see that scalping, hedging and EA strategies are permitted. World Forex's leveraged CFDs are available on a modest suite of 100+ instruments, including stocks, commodities and forex. Very high leverage up to 1:1000 is available for account balances up to $1000, with lower levels available to accounts with higher balances.

Forex Trading
I’m happy with Tradeview’s strong range of 60+ currency pairs spanning majors, minors and exotics with competitive spreads from 0 pips in the $1000 ILC account. Traders can choose from several platforms, but I was particularly impressed with the feature-rich Currenex platform which is designed specifically for currency trading. World Forex offers CFD and digital contract trading on 53 forex pairs, including EUR/USD and GBP/EUR. High leverage is available for CFDs, which can be accessed with competitive spreads on certain account types.

Cryptocurrency
I found 5 crypto products at Tradeview: BTCUSD, ETHUSD, LTCUSD, XRPUSD and BTCJPY. Whilst this isn’t the widest range, beginners should have enough opportunities to explore the market. Plus, with STP/ECN execution, traders should be able to access relatively competitive prices. Traders can access CFDs on crypto assets through World Forex's dedicated W-CRYPTO accounts, which offer leveraged cryptocurrency trading with spreads from zero. We rate that you can trade on 10 cryptos paired with the USD and EUR, while crypto-crypto pairs are also available.
