SVK Markets is a London-based broker, established in 2016 and a trading name of SVK Capital Management UK Ltd. The company is managed by a group of professionals with a wealth of trading experience.
There is a lot that will appeal to prospective traders, with a choice of trading platforms in addition to 330+ forex pairs, 90+ indices, 110+ commodities, and 9000+ shares.
SVK Markets offers a choice of bespoke platforms and industry favourites. Its in-house offerings are called Advantage Web and AT Pro.
Advantage Web is a browser-based platform suitable for all traders. The platform is easy to navigate and provides a host of tools:
- Fully customisable layouts
- Variable timeframes

- Multiple charts
AT Pro is SVK Markets’ advanced platform geared towards experienced traders. The downloadable platform offers a range of features including fast execution and comprehensive charting. Other services include:
- Auto-trading – browse pre-built algorithms and strategies
- Code features – code your own systems in the development studio
- Lucid charting – analyse more accurate charts to help you react faster

MT4 is the most popular forex trading platform online. Used by traders around the world, it’s an excellent all-round solution:

- One-click trading – trade FX instantly to capitalise on opportunities
- Custom indicators – analyse trends in real-time with bespoke indicators
- Professional charting – access dozens of advanced technical indicators and drawing tools
- Customisable leverage – Customise leverage up to 1:200 to trade on popular financial markets
SVK Markets offers an impressive range of tradeable instruments, beyond the selection seen at most established providers:
- Forex – trade on over 330 major, minor and exotic forex pairs including EUR/USD, AUD/USD and USD/JPY
- Shares & indices – trade on major global indices such as UK 100, Germany 30 and France 40
- Commodities – speculate on softs, grains and energy such as oil
- Metals – trade precious metals including gold, silver and platinum
- Options – diversify your portfolio with straightforward options
- Interest rates – explore a variety of UK and EU interest rates
- Bonds – buy and sell US bonds, Euro Bunds and T-Bonds
SVK Markets’ spreads are generally competitive. Forex spreads begin at 0.5 pips for EUR/USD, gold spreads at 0.3 points and options from 4.0 points. Commission fees are only charged on CFDs shares. But whilst relatively competitive on the surface, the broker doesn’t provide a detailed breakdown across products which is a drawback. As a result, we can’t say with confidence that SVK Markets is cheaper than other brokers.
Up to 1:30 leverage is available when trading major forex pairs, 1:20 leverage is available when trading minors and the cap when trading commodities is 1:10. Leverage levels can be amended upon request and the current ratios are in line with FCA regulations. Global traders may also have access to leverage up to 1:200. Speak to the customer support team for details.
Note, leverage should only be used by experienced traders in conjunction with stringent risk and money management strategies.
SVK Markets offers a spread betting, CFD and forex trading app available on iOS, Android and Windows devices. The award-winning application offers live streaming, real-time charts, multiple order types and trading history. SVK Markets Verdict
SVK Markets is an established broker with lots to offer prospective traders. It’s particularly good for beginners looking to explore spread betting or CFDs on established financial markets. We also like the training courses for new traders and the several platform options. However, we were underwhelmed by the unclear fees and limited customer support. Overall, SVK Markets wouldn’t be our first choice. See our list of top brokers for alternative options.
