Haha, classic case of “profit panic”! 🚀 Happens to the best of us. That green PnL hits, and suddenly you’re like, “Take the money and run!” only to watch the trade skyrocket right after.
One trick that’s helped me is setting a minimum profit target based on the setup’s risk-reward ratio.
For example, if I’m risking $100, I’ll aim for at least $200 before even thinking about exiting. That way, I’m not bailing at the first sign of green.
Trailing stops can also be a lifesaver—they let you lock in profits while giving the trade room to breathe. And honestly, sometimes it’s worth letting a portion of the trade run with no hard exit.
