Blackwell Global Investments (UK) Limited was founded in 2010 in the United Kingdom. Over the last decade, the London-based broker has gained a strong international presence in over 90 countries, including Singapore, China, Thailand, and the Bahamas.
Blackwell Global holds a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) license in the UK and is also licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). The broker has expanded around the world with 9 additional offices across Cyprus, Cambodia, and New Zealand.
MetaTrader 4 Platform
MT4 is a user-friendly downloadable trading platform, suitable for all traders and available in over 20 languages.
Once you’re through the login page, the platform offers an advanced charting package containing over 30 technical analysis indicators. Charts are fully configurable and customisable, meaning you can view multiple graphs within one display.
Uses also get access to trading robots, back-testing within the historical database, hedging functions, plus automatic updates and alerts.

Spreads & Commission
Blackwell Global offers ECN spreads starting from 0.7 pips for EUR/USD and standard spreads around 1.8 pips for the same pair. For major indices such as the FTSE 100, ECN spreads are 1.4 pips and standard spreads are 2 pips.
There are no commissions charged with the standard account. Commissions in the ECN account are charged at $4.50 per lot each way.
There is an inactivity fee of $25 per month after 6 months of account dormancy. However, the broker is happy to waive these fees if you discuss your break from trading with them beforehand. Daily financing costs (swaps) also apply to positions rolled over into the next day.
Leverage
Retail clients can leverage up to 1:30 at Blackwell Global and professional clients can apply for higher leverage, subject to approval. Leverage can increase the potential of high returns but it can also act against you during unfavourable market moves.
Mobile Trading
Users can stream live forex quotes to mobile or tablet devices with the MT4 mobile app, available in 10 languages.
Traders can stay on top of the markets with historical and real-time trading data, as well as monitor their open positions, pending orders, and more. The app also provides access to most of the essential technical indicators available on the desktop platform.

Bank charges may apply if you’re funding via bank transfer and processing times take up to 5 days for international bank transfers. All other methods are processed instantly and are fee-free.

Blackwell Global Investments (UK) Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) with FSRN 687576, as well as the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). Blackwell Global Hong Kong also holds an asset management license with the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
Such regulations require the broker to meet strict requirements including providing annual reports to external auditors. The broker also ensures that company funds and client funds are held in separate accounts with respectable banks such as Barclays. Funds are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) which insures up to £85,000 per client. In addition, negative balance protection is also provided to retail clients. Should the broker behave inappropriately, it may well find itself under investigation.

At Blackwell Global, you can choose between a Standard Account, an ECN Account, a Pro Account, or an Islamic Account.
The minimum deposit requirement for the Standard and ECN accounts is $250, which isn’t the lowest starting deposit compared to other brokers. Nonetheless, you can access low spreads in the ECN account or enjoy commission-free trading in the Standard account. The minimum trade size is 0.01 lots and all available instruments are offered in both accounts.
Professional traders who meet the requirements can access higher leverage, a personal account manager, and superior execution where available.
