Does anyone know of any GOOD brokers that offer accounts based in African currencies like KES or NGN? Feels like most platforms these days want you to open a USD account.

You’re right that many brokers support USD accounts, however there are some reputable platforms that offer accounts denominated in African currencies. Exness, for instance stands out by supporting over 40 account currencies, eight of which are African (KES, NGN, EGP, GHS, MAD, UGX, XOF, ZAR).

I also recommend looking at our guide on account currencies – https://www.daytrading.com/brokers/account-currencies. Here you will find pages on a host of different currencies with lists of brokers that support those account currencies.

Hey Nsikan, you should check out SuperForex. They’ve got an account in KES and support M-Pesa, which is pretty dope. No idea why more brokers aren’t doing that tbh, M-Pesa is so easy.
