Every time you change profiles in MT4 the software fires up a new load of charts based on that profile, yet the indicators are tied to templates. This means if you don’t save them as part of your chart template they won’t carry over when you switch profiles.
You can fix this by following these steps
- Right click on a chart
- Click Template then Save Template
- Name the template and save
This should make sure that your current chart setup, including custom indicators, are applied whenever you load the template.
