Comment by Reviewer
"I think the small-scale brokerage services available at Daniels Trading make it ideal for experienced traders looking for a bespoke futures trading experience." "Based on my evaluations, TrioMarkets is suitable for experienced traders looking for zero-commissions, PAMM accounts or reliable VPS services. That said, I'm not a huge fan of the small asset line-up, the offshore licensing, and the lack of educational resources."
Pros
  • A wide range of account types supports both hands-on and hands-off trading strategies and I like that the broker offers comprehensive advice, automation and management services for both
  • Experienced investors should be pleased that leverage rates can be negotiated on an individual basis, ensuring that strategies can be optimised without taking on excessive risk
  • I'm impressed with the variety of exotic futures products at Daniels Trading, including rare soft commodities and interest rate futures
  • The broker is authorised and regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), a respected US regulator
  • The usability and client focus of the proprietary DT Pro trading platform is also a major advantage for me
  • I feel reassured that clients can access the trusted MetaTrader 4 platform, which is accessible via desktop, web and mobile applications
  • It's good to see that the broker offers a VPS, social trading, PAMM/MAM accounts and FXI API trading tools designed to enhance the overall experience
  • I like that there's a choice of four account types with access to all instruments and competitive pricing
  • I'm a fan of the true ECN execution model with no rejections or dealing desk intervention
Cons
  • Almost all withdrawals are subject to a fee of at least $25 per request, which is relatively high compared to other brands
  • Daniels Trading is not really designed for beginners, with reasonably high fees and a minimum deposit of $2,000
  • I would prefer to see a greater range of asset types from the firm, not just futures products
  • I'm disappointed by the small product line-up of only 130+ instruments - much less than most brokers I review
  • It's a shame that the broker only offers the MetaTrader 4 trading terminal, with no bespoke software or alternative options
  • I'm a little hesitant that the global entity is regulated offshore by the Financial Services Commission (Mauritius)
  • I'm not thrilled that withdrawal fees apply for some payment methods
  • There is limited educational content available and I also noticed that much of the market news is outdated

Forex Trading
My tests found that you can use either of the intuitive proprietary charting platforms at Daniels Trading to analyse and speculate upon 14 currency futures products, alongside several more e-mini futures. My tests found a decent range of 60+ major, minor and exotic currency pairs including EUR/USD and USD/JPY on the MT4 terminal. You can benefit from no dealing desk intervention and leverage up to 1:500.

Crypto trading not offered There are only 4 popular crypto CFDs available; BTC, ETH, LTC and XRP with 1:2 leverage. This is definitely one of the smallest ranges of cryptos I have seen so I think dedicated crypto traders may want to consider other options.
